STRUCTURED CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS

AND IMPROVERS
 
A series of four 12-week modules which students can either start as
absolute beginners or join at a stage appropriate to their previous experince.
 
Module 1 - Absolute beginners
Module 2 - Fundamentals of bidding
Module 3 - Competetive auctions
Module 4 - Common Conventions
 
Students must pre-enrol for these courses.
All classes for Autumn 2009 are full.
 
ENROLMENTS NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR JANUARY 2010.
 

DUPLICATE BRIDGE FOR INEXPERIENCED PLAYERS
 
From 1st October 2009 Duplicate Bridge sessions for inexperienced players
will be held on Thursdays at 2.00pm. The objective is to prepare novice
players for Club Duplicate play.
 
About 12 boards will be played in about 2 hours.  Copies of the hands
played will be provided so that players can review their performance
afterwards
 

NO PRE-BOOKING REQUIRED BUT PLAYERS MUST COME IN PAIRS
 

LEARN-AND-PLAY SESSIONS
 
In these sessions students receive about ½ an hour instruction, followed by
general play.
mondays and fridays 10.00 to 12.00 noon
 
NO PRE-BOOKING REQUIRED, JUST TURN UP SINGLY OR IN PAIRS
